Jamie Dastou and Monica Gerda, founders and owners of Creative Organizing & Design are living their dreams! After years of education and professional experience, Jamie and Monica decided to combine their passion of helping others and their love for organizing and design. They had always been told, "Find your passion and make it your dream!"....And that is just what they have done!
Creative Organizing & Design was established in 2006. Jamie and Monica recognized their abilities and desire to help other people simplify their lives. They joined the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), as well as the local NAPO-GA chapter. NAPO, "The Organizing Authority" has provided amazing benefits to Creative Organizing & Design, such as educational experiences and networking opportunities.
Jamie Dastou completed her Bachelor's Degree at The University of South Carolina and went on to receive her Master's Degree from The University of West Georgia. She spent two years working in the corporate world and taught high school for four years.
Monica Gerda holds her Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University and completed her Master's Degree at James Madison University. She spent nearly two years working for a non-profit company and taught high school for three years.
Jamie and Monica believe their experience in education is extremely beneficial to the company and their clients. In addition to hands-on assistance, each client receives organizational education. Creative Organizing & Design works closely with the client to provide guidelines that will help maintain the organizational system implemented.
Jamie and Monica are devoted to helping their clients find a system that will work for them. They take a lot of pride in their work. Both Jamie and Monica feel the most exciting and rewarding part of their job is seeing a smile on their client's face and knowing they have made a difference in that person's life!
